Heritage Series Beer Launch: Hofer Select Ale

Join us this Friday, January 24th at 4pm as we release the fourth installment of our Heritage Series…Hofer's Select Ale!

Hofer is one of Windsor-Essex ‘Original Six’ Breweries. Established in 1928 in LaSalle, Hofer Brewery was known as ‘Prohibition’s child’ due to the ample supply of beer from LaSalle to the USA at that time!

Al Capone and George ‘Bugs’ Moran were both reputedly customers of the Wellington Hotel next to the Hofer Brewery.
Hofer’s Select Ale is a homage to the Brewery. 

It is an unfiltered English-style pale ale, refreshing and easy drinking beer with a delicate citrus character from dry hopping.
